Troubleshooting Android Devices

Check connection issues :

  • Verify that any advanced wifi setting related to mobile data is off
  • These settings can be listed as such:
    • Switch to Mobile Data (latest)
    • Older models
    • Auto Network Switch
    • Smart Network Switch
    • WIFI Optimization

Verify ALL permissions are enabled 

If you find it easier, you can uninstall and reinstall the app and make sure you grant permissions to the following:

  • Location
  • Camera
  • Storage
  • Phone
If you are still having problems connecting: 
  1. Got o WiFi settings for your phone
  2. Turn off WiFi
  3. Turn on WiFi
  4. Connect directly to your camera
  5. Go back into the RICOH Tours app and add a photo adding the RICOH Theta again.
